This was just plain fun! Besides the fact a lady slipped a 10 dollar bill in my pocket, I had lots of people asking "What is that thing you're playing?"

Angels we have heard on high on Ocarina.

HAHAHAH!!! I finally figured out the independent  upload problem!!!! *continues evil laughter*

This was probably the fastest made video I've ever done. I was just cruising around for lyrical versions of Christmas tunes and came across one that sounded a bit like country but (thankfully) wasn't.

I Was tickled by a notion that my New Vista pendant would fit this song perfectly...... and it did. :)

I then decided to see if I could run this song through Audacity to make myself a Karaoke version..... and It worked! :) :)


A day or 2 later, I needed to go to town to mail my Art-Fire Shop orders and my mom's Etsy orders as well as some stuff at the bank. Since it was Christmas time, I figured "What the Heck!" and asked the ladies at the bank if they'd like some Carols and they said "Absolutely!"

And since I brought my video camera with me for this very reason..... well..... >:D 
They're very nice, understanding and supportive of Ocarina music.

Original Song "Horse Ride" on Ocarina

This turned out so CUTE!!!!!! I'm so please with my big old sweetheart Rocky!...... Oh, and the ocarina playing turned out pretty good too. XD

Yes, my Rocky is no stranger to the sounds of the ocarina, to which I'm very grateful. Getting him to take part in Videos is seldom difficult..... especially with a little bribery in the form of a handful of oats. :)

As far as the music is concerned. Yes, This is my own original tune.... at least I hope it is. The way to appreciate this tune most is to imagine going for a horse ride in snow. The tempo gets progressively faster and more beat driven as you go faster with the horse. Once you in a big open field, you just let the horse give'er. The key switch is just for fun and makes for an equally pleasant ending. :)


This was filmed well in advance of all the snow and frigid temperatures we have here now in Saskatchewan. Stay warm guys!

Hoshi no Kaabi intro on Ocarina

Yay! My blog's not being stupid this time! :D

This is the debut performance of my new Focalink I bought through The Ocarina Network. Such a friendly lot they are.
This was one of the more.... interesting songs I've played in a while to say the least. I'm not going to deny that it's nice to have requests made to you as a performer but I'm also not going to deny that Man! can they get a tad naggy. I sure feel for DocJazz4 some days. 

Anyway, As far as actually playing this song goes, I had to do a little cut and paste but otherwise I'm very happy that I got everything. Even Sparky was willing to give a little chirp. ♥

The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time theme on Ocarina.

I hate when my blog does this. It says "There was an error uploading your video" and it won't upload my video so it's independent from You-Tube. Ergo, if it's taken down from You-Tube, it will be taken down from here too...... Stupid blog...

1: The first scene with the moon was bar-non the HARDEST F%^*-ing shot to get. EVER! Filming was started in June but we didn't get this scene until AUGUST! @_@"

Man, when I want to learn a song, it don't matter where the heck I am! I learned this song while helping with that home renovating at my brother's place.

Got to admit, it's a really pleasant song to listen to as well as to play. :)

So you guys know, this was filmed in July. It's Now Fall where I live but sadly I won't be able to get any new filming done with the beautiful Fall weather. Too much work right now. I might be able to do something by November..... maybe.

Yes, this is in actuality the first live performance I've ever done. The Clock Town theme dosen't count because THIS was done first. I was going to do my usual of re-recording with this song but everything was so perfect I just went
"Oh what the heck, let's use it as is!"

I've got to say, I'm rather surprised how well this came out.... I hope...

I've never really been very fond of cameras, no thanks to my dad constantly shoving it in our faces going "SAY HI TO THE RELATIVES SO THEY CAN SEE HOW FAT YOU ARE!!!.... okay, I made that last part up...


On the bright side, I'm getting better at it so hopefully newer vids will look better! Even though I did this once before, that one had some mistakes and one major pitch problem, so I wanted to do a really nice job!

I know I've done this before but I really never was satisfied with how it turned out. So I grabbed an Orchestral version of this, had my sister run it through audacity and grabbed my Lil blue F soprano and had fun!.... I quite literally had so much fun doing this.... almost to the point of making mistakes in the recording.... sorry if anyone notices.

I've been really busy helping my big bro with some home reno the last week and then some so I apologize if this is a bit late.

As far as the extra duet playing goes, I was half sticking with the original backup singer's ploy and half.... just plain having fun. Please do tell me what you think.... This was such a beautiful song I just had to do it! Considering it's from the Hakuouki series you'd think this song would have you bawling your eyes out (like the rest of the frigging series) but the 3rd season's ending song is actually about the happy things in Hakuouki...... weird... @_@

Tetris Attack Stage 2 on Ocarina

This is a tune that I love and wanted to do for a long time but just didn't have the skill necessary to do it justice. Now I do and (imo) I did! 

Fun Fact! A portion of the harmonics in this song was ad-libed and yet.... it worked out so well! I was so happy with it!
